In the dry season, my throat always feels dry and itchy, so I started looking for food that can relieve this condition. Thinking of the classic lung-moistening dish of rock sugar and snow pear soup, I decided to make a bowl of it myself.
I remember the first time I tried to make this soup, I carefully selected a few plump and juicy snow pears, washed them, peeled them, and cut them into large pieces. Then I put them in a pot and added an appropriate amount of water and rock sugar. During the cooking process, the pear pieces slowly softened in the water and released a sweet aroma. The rock sugar slowly melted and blended with the pear juice to form a unique sweetness.
